We are excited to announce that the SPRINTER project will participate in the 2025 25th Anniversary International Conference on Transparent Optical Networks (ICTON), one of the leading international events in the field of photonics and optical communication.

🔬 Presentation Title:
Demonstration of an Optical 16×16 Benes Switch based on 3D Photonic Integration

📅 Session Details:
Thursday, July 10 | Time: 11.55 | Session: Th.B7.5 | Room 205 – Materials & Devices

Georgios Megas from PCRL will present a novel 16×16 Benes optical switch, developed through advanced 3D photonic integration technologies. This solution paves the way for scalable, high-density optical switching in next-generation networks.

This work comes from the collaborative efforts of the SPRINTER Project and POETICS Project and marks a significant step forward in scalable, high-density optical switching for next-generation networks.
